Surprisingly dull..

Brian Henson has to understand that we live in a post-Crank Yankers world, right? The gimmick of having puppets say and do vulgar things was already a bit tame and antiquated in the early 2000s. That gag alone just isn't enough to carry an entire comedy in 2018.

Peter Jackson's MEET THE FEEBLES (1989) remains the most punk and surreal take on Muppets to date.
