Of all the creepy things featured in Walter Murch's brilliant adaptation of both Return To and Ozma of Oz (Wheelers, Rock Gnomes, Deadly Desert, Shrieking patients in the basement of a sanitarium, etc.) this is the scene that has stayed with me the longest. The way her other captive glass-encased heads just coldly stare as Dorothy quietly tries to steal a potion. The headless body snoring/gurgling through an open esophagus. The eyes suddenly opening & body swiftly sitting up. The other heads screaming like a burglar alarm... Sends shivers down the spine.
