(2014 dir. Jean-Marc Vallée) Date Seen: December 2 2014

Not as bad as his disease-of-the-week movie DALLAS BUYERS CLUB last year, but Monsieur Vallée remains a boring director. Not who I would have chosen to direct this thematically rich material. Thank goodness it features one of Reese Witherspoon's greatest performances. Never ceases to amaze how much dramatic and comedic range that gal has.
