Though I didn't like Oyelowo's performance as much as I did Jeffrey Wright's in BOYCOTT (2001), this is a much more handsome & smartly constructed film about Dr. King than that was. And it's still an excellent character performance by Oyelowo. This whole ensemble is simply splendid. 2014 was a decent year for biographical pics.
