Little brother took me to see this today! A picture full of warmth that's wholesomely sentimental without being saccharine. Lush with nostalghia + genuine longing. I must say I was fairly surprised when the film took a turn into SCHOOL TIES (1992) territory in its later half. & I'm glad Kushner & Spielberg did not shy away from that bigotry & bullying.
