Fun at parts even if mostly just dumb filler. There's worse ways to spend a Thursday night @ the movies I suppose.. I miss when Peter Berg used to direct action sprinkled with slapstick. He was visually like a drunken Panna Rittikrai. Lots in this one felt like knock-off Michael Bay unfortunately. 

But why did the aliens look like Kilowog? 

Also I gotta get me some of them Blue Light lens flares! Because that blue light is BADASS (walks off into sunset)
