Another great quiz by Dennis Cozzalio.
1) DEPENDING ON YOUR MOOD, YOUR FAVORITE OR LEAST-LOVED MOVIE CLICHE
My favorite remains bad guys being terrible shots with guns. Bullets not hitting our hero, etc..
My least favorite is the "Black guy dies first" thing. When genre films treat people of color like expendable fodder
2) REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT YOU EVENTUALLY CAUGHT UP WITH IT, WHICH FILM CLASSIC HAVE YOU LIED ABOUT SEEING IN THE PAST?
In high school I used to tell people I liked Orson Welles's CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT (1966) more than CITIZEN KANE (1941). Just to sound cool, contrarian, & learned I guess.. But the thing was that movie hadn't been available for decades & I had never seen it. Wasn't even available to watch on VHS- and Youtube was new and no one had uploaded a bootleg
Not the coolest shit I've ever done.

12) LOW-PROFILE WRITER
WHO DESERVES MORE ATTENTION FROM CRITICS & OR AUDIENCES
Are we talking writer of film criticism/theory or screenwriter?? If we're talkin' film critics, Simon Abrams is my favorite of the new critics on the scene in my age group.
If the quiz meant screenwriters though-- I think Mia Hansen-Løve is criminally underrated. As both a writer & director.
13) MOVIE MOST RECENTLY VIEWED THEATRICALLY, AND ON DVD, BLURAY OR STREAMING
Theatrically: THE TREE OF LIFE (2011)
dvd: Jodorowsky's SANTA SANGRE (1989)

20) EXISTING STEPHEN KING MOVIE ADAPTATION THAT COULD USE A REMAKE/REBOOT/OVERHAUL
I don't like the 1990 miniseries of King's It.. Tim Curry is great in it but that creepy ass book deserved so much better. It should get a new feature film remake! Especially if they just focus on the part where "the Losers" are kids. And if that film does well, green-light a sequel about when they're adults.
Also i think The Stand could make an awesome 2 part movie.

36) BEST EUGENE PALLETTE
PERFORMANCE
As Friar Tuck in the old ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD ('38).
37) BEST / WORST REMAKE OF THE 21ST CENTURY SO FAR?
Off the top of my head, the best would be OCEAN'S ELEVEN (2001) and TRUE GRIT (2010).
Worst remakes this century are PULSE (2006), NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (2010), & THE HITCHER (2007).
38) WHAT COULD MULTIPLEX OWNERS DO RIGHT NOW TO IMPROVE THE THEATRICAL VIEWING EXPERIENCE FOR MOVIEGOERS? WHAT COULD MOVIEGOERS DO?
Multiplex owners could invest in training traditional projectionists & screen things in 35mm (or 70mm) until digital projectors reach a higher resolution. Don't buy cheap-o projectors just to save a buck. It looks horrible, especially on 3D films. Also always have a staff member on call who can eject disruptive viewers & people playing on their cellphones. Moviegoers could improve cinemas by actually going to more movies & being courteous once they're there.
