(2011 dir. Terrence Malick) Date Seen: June 3 2011

One of the first great films of the new decade. Nothing I had heard or read about the film prepared me for something so beautiful and genuinely spiritual. Like Kubrick, Tarkovsky, Béla Tarr, Antonioni, Brakhage or Godard before - Malick is a cinematic force to be reckoned with.
