A delirious & visually extravagant piece of filmmaking. For me it tonally sorta felt like a spiritual cousin to Jarmusch's GHOST DOG. + Mahershala Ali is terrific in it & he gives the film's madness an emotional center without taming any of the strangeness. It's the sort of movie that keeps changing shape & then it does it again when you thought you'd figured it out.

Director conjures decent menace with the atmosphere. & lots of images linger in the mind long after the plot fizzled. Oh but this is a giallo, so maybe the plot Jizzled. Maybe there was a little too much boring stuff at times + that ending is needlessly fatalistic.
