43) CASINO JACK AND THE UNITED STATES OF MONEY
(2010 dir. Alex Gibney) Date Seen: June 24 2010
This was pretty good if nothing groundbreaking. It's like the third documentary I've seen this year that is curiously derivative of Errol Morris.
42) LET THE RIGHT ONE IN
(2008 dir. Thomas Alfredson) 4th Viewing: June 24 2010
Retains haunting power after many viewings. There's something quietly devastating about the film's central friendship and finale. It really gets to me. It's an unexpectedly painful vision of childhood.

There probably won't be another vampire movie this poignant anytime soon.
