214) PASSENGER 57
(1992 dir. Kevin Hooks) Date Seen: April 13 2022

maybe it is just DIE HARD on a plane; at least it's got enough action silliness to make it a worthwhile novelty. (and No, DIE HARD 2 takes place at an airport. Not on a plane). It's just fun to watch kung fu Snipes stomp on generic eastern Euro henchmen for a while. The directing & editing here only being 1/4 as immaculate as McTiernan's '88 masterwork is the only thing holding PASSENGER 57 back.. The above mentioned "Always bet on black" one-liner has to be one of the great Stand Up and Cheer action movie line deliveries.
🤣 Right up there with Arnie's "But I hope you leave enough room for my fist.." in RUNNING MAN.
Also; is Bruce Payne in this the inspiration for Liquid Snake??

213) TOP OF THE HEAP
(1972 dir. Christopher St. John) Date Seen: April 13 2022

212) HEAVENLY SWORD
(2014 dir. Gun Ho Jang) Date Seen: April 13 2022

a feature length PS2 cutscene with possibly the ugliest color scheme I've seen in a movie since 13 HOURS (2016).. Shame too, because the game rules.

211) MASS EFFECT:
                      PARAGON LOST
(2012 dir. Atsushi Takeuchi) Date Seen: April 13 2022

Just wall-to-wall unengaging idiocentric
gobbledygook.. The visuals don't do it many favors either
