I guess this was a pretty okay adaptation of the video game series.. When it comes to my own personal preferences concerning motion picture craft, I favor John Woo's RED CLIFF over this. Woo's 2 part epic was essentially the same material painted with much broader strokes & more gracefully.

this certainly looked detailed & expensive, animation wise. So it thankfully doesn't have the old PS3 cutscene look that the straight-to-video Resident Evil movies are guilty of.. It was just a little too emotionally inert for me
