Definitely a bit too long & disjointed, but I kind of loved how angry & stylish, & how devoted to the atmosphere of old exploitation films it was. I think maybe CUT THROAT CITY is still RZA's best work, but there’s a rough & unruly vitality to this one that makes all its shortcomings easy to forgive.
