my personal favorite moments from films to receive a 1986 U.S. release. Not all of which made my actual “Best Films of 1986” list, but at least had incredible segments that stayed with me since first viewing. Scenes that I’m sure I’ll want to re-visit again and again.

A dancing enchanted black dress casts a seduction spell over Princess Lili.. Equal parts LES VAMPIRES (1915) and LA BELLE ET LA BÊTE (1946).. the way the sound design mixes an old woman’s cackle w/hunchback whale cries gave me goosebumps. Not to mention Tangerine Dream’s finest moment
- LEGEND (Ridley Scott)
