my personal favorite moments from films to receive a 2014 U.S. release. Not all of which made my actual “Best Films of 2014” list, but at least had incredible segments that stayed with me since first viewing. Scenes that I’m sure I’ll want to re-visit again and again.

The entire final 30 minutes of the movie. We were on the edge of our seats through this entire stretch. The double-time docking (Imagine trying to defuse a bomb during a sped up "Blue Denube" sequence from 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY), slingshotting around Gargantua, higher-dimensional tesseract within the black hole, etc.
